Update guys. I appreciate the condolences. I do. I wasn't close to my father until recent years. He abandoned my brother and I. First real interaction with him was 12yo over a summer at Ft. Hood. Then not again until High school. Then not again until my brothers death at 20. He denied him until that death. I took the high road with him. Pretended none of it mattered and in the end I'm all the two of them had left. I love them. I'll take care of her now. Jesus led me down that path when an angry young man didn't want to go down that path. It healed me in some ways. Damned sure made me a better father, if not perfect.


Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
