I spent part of all 3 days at the show. It was great to meet several Aldeer members and have some great conversations. It was extremely crowded and being able to browse was not happening, you better have a game plan if you have specific items or manufacturers you want to see.
I did pick up a few calls, mostly from guys that are not at Unicoi.
There is a lot of talk about the amount of none turkey related booths, mainly the waterfowl items. When you have 5-6 guys in a booth just steady blowing the duck/goose calls all day, was a little much. But the amount of money those booths bring in, they are here to stay.
My biggest ask of NWTF is to open up the aisles, it was hard to move around.
It’s still a good time to talk turkey with friends from around the country.
