I’ve got a summit viper that I really like the sturdiness and the weight. I DO NOT like how it nests together. I can never seem to get it right. I love my API. Very safe and sturdy with the chains but heavier. I’d recommend either one.
I've got a couple Summits and 3 of the APIs. I don't think I have took either of the Summits out of my shop for about 3 years now, but at 60yo, I killed 3 deer out of my APIs this season. Yep, still comfortable enough at my age.
