My wife and I started watching and will continue to do so. We grow our own stuff and make our own bread. Render our lard and tallow. About all she buys comes from azure standard . Fixing to get 2 more pigs to raise. If I ever get caught up enough to go fishing what do you cook fish in healthy? seed oils are a big no-no around here. I have not watched enough of your videos to see if you cover it yet. Im not much of a fisherman. My wife loves fish, but when we eat it, its usually given to us from some of my saltwater freinds. If we are going to cook some for just us, my wife uses beef tallow in a cast iron dutch oven. We have a big fryer but seldom use. When i do we use only peanut oil. Ive seen , it better for you but not sure how much. Thats why we say were 85% food self sufficient, because we occasionally buy stuff like that. Come see me anytime, im not as bad as so.e on here think, lol

Do you ever sale beef fat Yes, right now im out, my wife started making face cream out of it, and i started deer processing this year. Between the two were just about out. But i jave some waygu fat coming probably around april, and then ill be getting it in regular again after that. We sold out of beef this year, and picked up on what we feed out, so its finally coming back around.

Ketchup was originally created to cover up the taste of rancid meat in the days before refrigeration. This is what you get at the poison mart. If you had a good steak, it needs nothing!!! I can assure you that ketchup, steak sauce and marinades never touch my steaks. I like aged cow seasoned with salt and pepper. Same here, Except i will eat it without the salt and pepper most of the time. I just throw it on the grill and take it off and eat it. Nothing wrong with a sauce if thats what you like but iam good without anything on it
