Any you older guy know him? great podcast on youtube with him with Southern outdoorsman, I think he passed away before this aired! Awesome ole school turkey hunter and he is so funny!

He was a great man. He was old school and a hellava turkey hunter. Nicest guy you will ever meet. He was a man of his word.

Even better interview on Mossy Oak gamekeeper. Got attacked by bobcat last year is brought him to the public.He passed away a couple of weeks ago.

I manage some land next to his. Met him a few years ago looking at some access. Hadn’t heard that he had passed away yet until seeing this.

He had the coolest casket arrangement i ever seen with turkey feathers and deer horns. He has some good land in gastonberg - hunted on and around it. claude was unique - good guy that loved to take tons of people on his land to kill deer. You had to get lost in turkey season though🤣🤣
I hav had the privledge to turkey hunt his land a few times - most were never able to say that

RIP Mr. Claude . Most of that property has been passed down through his family dating back to the 1800s. Always heard at 1 time during 1800's - early 1900's you could travel from gastonburg dang near to demopolis without getting off strother property. read a pretty cool article years ago about his early ancestor's start in that area

John is not his son, he only has a daughter. Her name is DeAnn. John’s dad is Haas Strother, was the president of the bank in Camden for years.

Claude’s son in law is a great friend and was my college roommate. I’m glad DeAnn got him to start the TikToks and podcast stuff. He was such a great storyteller and will be missed by many.
