Ketchup was originally created to cover up the taste of rancid meat in the days before refrigeration. This is what you get at the poison mart. If you had a good steak, it needs nothing!!! I can assure you that ketchup, steak sauce and marinades never touch my steaks. I like aged cow seasoned with salt and pepper. Thats how i cook mine, then i dip it in ketchup
