I've been buying nice size Sukarne T Bones at Piggly Wiggly since I've been on this Carnivore Diet. Publix sells the same brand supposedly grown here. They're from Uruguay, grass fed from weening to slaughter and after I researched them on the web I'm still buying them. They're about 3/4" thick and a 3 pack is $17. I figure the grass that they eat is sprayed with something that will kill me, similar to ALL green things grown by farmers here and controlled by the big 4 .....Bayer, Corteva, ChemChina (Syngenta), and BASF.

My mother bought one of the beef packages from the guys that drive around in the trucks. Wasn’t top notch but surprisingly it wasn’t horrible either.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Montgomery corner of the bypass and I-85! They take credit cards! There was one of those trucks sitting in the Rural King parking lot a while back. My wife convinced me to check into it somehow and the meat didn't look bad but were only something like 4-1/2 ounces each. If that 4-1/2 oz is accurate, then 20 steaks = 90 oz or 5.625 lbs. $35. ÷ 5.625 lbs = $6.22 lb. Still not a bad price. I opted out though because I had no idea how legit the operation was. Several things came to mind. Rustled beef, usda inspection, consistent refrigeration, etc.

It still is at the truck just like that one in Columbus. Maybe because he's parked at the mall on Manchester Expwy. and it's a mini war zone there sometimes.

I watched a story about those steak trucks. Seems like the business plan is to offload as much meat as possible then gtfo of dodge before people start trying to get refunds.

They prefer horse meat in a lot of countries. It is very good. Much leaner than beef. I like basashi as well. Too bad the US doesn't have the will power to allow it to be sold in the US. In the book, "Empire of the Summer Moon", the author explains why the Commanche became a warrior tribe because they recognized the horse as a tool. Navajos on the other hand ate them because they tasted so good.
