Yep. The average means absolutely nothing over an area that large. Local habitat conditions are needed to know if an area is supporting the density that’s present. I don’t even care how many deer are on the landscape when doing consults. I am only concerned with “Is this habitat supporting the deer that are here.” All that’s needed.
