My point is there is obviously some sort of loophole that is being taken advantage of....a quick google search indicates there are several players currently playing college basketball, despite having previously declared for the draft, and playing in Europe and/or in the NBA G-League.

So, serious question.......what makes Bediako's situation different than all those others currently playing college basketball after playing professionally, elsewhere? Why is he getting so much air time?

My understanding is that, the difference between him and all the Euro pros and other g league pros, is that he is the only one that attended college prior to signing a pro contract. Supposedly when you leave college and declare for the draft you sign away your rights as an amateur in that sport. I don't really understand how that works for the others, but that is why you sometimes see players that have played minor league baseball come back to college and play a different sport other than baseball. I don't know if college sports will ever recover from the mess that it has become.
