This has probably been talked about on here before.
What’s the average number of deer per hunter per season in Alabama?
I got three this year. Could’ve shot a ton of does. Seems like 2 or 3 about average for me. I didn’t get a “nice one.” That’s once every 3 or 4 years for me. I know guys who killed 9 or 10 deer and that’s about average for them.

Usually 2-4. I kill more in Fl than Al though. I like to put up 4 to have meat enough to get me through the year though.

I usually kill 35-40 most years... high was 48 a few years ago. Just kidding... just wanted CNC to get lathered up.

Typically <4 for me. Some years I take a few does and typically only shoot 1-2 bucks.

1 buck 1 doe. Not saying I wouldn’t shoot a second buck but it would have to be bigger than anything I have shot. I have sheep, chickens, and cows for meat also. Haven’t tried raising pigs yet.
FYI glad this question wasn’t asked in the mid to late nineties.

Friend of mine puts up at least 12-15 every year. He raises chickens, rabbits and doesn't buy meat in a store.

Most years I’m 4-5. The last couple years I’ve only killed 2 each year.

2.65 buck average over the last 8 years ( Only reason I know is because that's when I started doing Skull mounts)

My average is prob close to the 2.65 you say the last 6 years. Hunting so much bettr now that i got my own place. Killed 2 this year - a doe for a buddy and prob best buck i ever killed getting mounted! Since had my own place 6 years - last 4 years i killed 2 skull mounts and 2 shoulder mounts and the first year i clicked on a 10 i would hav mounted (muzzy just did not go off) & the second year i did not hav a mounter or skull worthy deer. Hunting over hunted clubs for 40 plus years - my average was never close to that good. Take many years to kill mounter!
I would hav liked 1 more doe but waited last sit for that - only saw small doe and let it go!
