Funny story, several years ago I was doing a rabies vaccination clinic in South Dallas County. Well, you hear some really interesting breeds when you get out in the County. I walk back to the truck to get some more vaccine, and I overhear my assistant who is taking the information and handing out vaccination certificates, say "Now WHAT kind of dog is it again???" Old black man there with a truck load of beagles raising hell. I look at her and she looks at me perplexed as the guy says "they beaver hounds". "Doc, he says he's got beaver hounds, but they sure look like beagles to me". I laughed and said "they are beagle hounds, Mr. Turner just has a wad of Levi Garrett in his mouth that would choke a horse." 😂
