Congrats! I was just going through some of my stepfather's assorted ammo and found a bunch of 375 H&H he loaded for Africa. Glad to see a beautiful 375 being put to good use!

As a man who hunted with a .300WinMag for 2 decades, I came to the conclusion that no magnum caliber is necessary to kill any deer walking the woods in Alabama.

That said, he ain't no deader than he would be if he were killed by any other caliber.

Like Treemydog said, I was just trying to stir the pot.

My primary hunting rifle for almost 2 decades is a 338 Win Mag. None of the deer I've shot with that gun suffered from overkill.

Dead is dead, there is no such thing as overkill.
