Big deer i shot at 25-30 yds with 270 130 grain corlock - not drop of blood - did not run over 60 - perfect shot. I often feel i miss mine. Of the 6-7 dog tracks i hav done - all short tracks except first one on long bow shot
The guy i use dont hav bunch dogs that gonna bay a deer either - sometimes he only brings one
I’ve had the same issue right after I bought my first 270, I moved up to 150 grains and haven’t had any issues
