25-06 and 257 Roberts aren't too shabby on whitetail. Never lost a deer with either one.

Ive got a custom 25-06 Sako AV in a light varmint contour 23" barrel, matte black, in a black McMillan stock, Zeiss Daivari V 3-12x56..

THE perfect Beanfield/Clearcut rifle.

115gr Nosler BT, max imr4350 - thumbnail groups @ 100yds. The first three deer I killed with it as luck would have it were all nice bucks...
I shot one of them in the corner of the EYE at 150 yards in a grown up clearcut bc that was all I could see.
You put that 10lb rifle on a shooting rail and lock in the elbow and the crosshairs DO NOT MOVE, no tremble.
<2lb like glass trigger..
Settle the crosshairs and just THINK about it and BOOM!!
Watch the round impact in the scope.
Kills like lightning.
Its really not fair.

That’s sweet. I sold my Sako and regret it. It was a 270.

Loaded with a 100 grain ttsx would be deadly, I’m guessing.

I picked that one up used at Walter Craig’s in Montgomery years ago. I think I gave them 300 bucks

😂. Yeah, I’m browsing gunbroker. I like the 25-06 idea. Bidding on a Sako now.
The biggest deer I killed this year might have weighed 150 pounds. lol.

Have you looked at EuroOptics? Great deals on guns. I’ve bought several Tikkas from there.

It would have weighed 147 if you would have shot it with the 300prc. Less to load up. Just saying
