Looking for a 6.5cm in a lighter weight rifle that I can use for outback mountain elk hunting, and my daughter can shoot. Bergara, Tikka etc.

Look at the Bergara Stoke. It's made for younger shooters and women and is lightweight. My wife totes one in a 6.5 CM and I've shot it many times comfortably. It weighs about 6.0 lbs bare and the length of pull is only 12.5 inches.

I like my Christensen Ridgeline with a 16” barrel.
It’s about perfect when you add a Scythe Ti

A Kimber is gonna be hard to best for that. I’ll keep my Adirondack forever, and I’ve had two regular montanas I shoulda kept, too. 🤬

You might want to look at a Savage Model 11 Lightweght Hunter. I have one in 6.5cm with a Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56 scope. Total weight of the rifle, ready to hunt, is 7lbs 4ozs.
