Deer in bama can grow to super star status in most areas. Just takes time to let em get old. Most never see 3 or 4 needs couple years past that to get the goods Exactly. There are superstars within each age class. Bigger bodies bigger racks. Most superstar bucks in AL are killed when they are 2 or 3 yr olds. That 115-120” 2 yr old and 135-140” 3 or 4 yr old are the ones that grow into the bucks like these two, at 6 and 7. Problem is in Alabama 98% of them are killed long before they even turn 4. Yep. I know a bunch of properties that could produce deer like this every single year but…..
