I’ve been in a shooting house in Greene county since 1:30pm. Seen zero deer. Not nearly as windy here. Almost still. Maybe they’ll come out at end of light.

I hunted a new spot on the WMA from 11am til 6pm and saw absolutely nothing. Really figured there would be some movement after that front.

Took my son out for afternoon hunt in the shoot house. Had 4 doe cross plot at 445 looking nervous and they never thought to stop for a bite. Just before dark a nice buck with two smaller ones entered far end of plot at 200 yards. I’m limiting my sons shot distances to around 100 yards and had to resist urge to take the big buck myself. I knew chsncexwere slim that he’d close distance to within 100 yards before dark and I unfortunately was right. We snuck out and are hoping for another chance. Of note we did see a pike of turkeys one of which was white.

Sitting in the blind I killed the 8pt in last week. 1 more deer for the freezer, and I'll be good for this year.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.
