Never been kicked out but followed the by-laws of a club I was in to file a complaint against a fellow member that led to his ouster. This guy was an outlaw that everyone complained about but wouldnt do what was necessary to boot him (I think some of it was out of fear of what he would do to the camp). After presenting my case to the board, they did the right thing and sent him on his way. Some of you might remember him on here - TatSoul.......

Had a friend get booted for being accused of shooting a small buck that poachers shot. He was tagged out in a certain area one day and a few days later another member found a dead small buck and they blamed my friend. It was obviously shot off the nearby local road and ran onto this property and died. Booted the guy with zero evidence even though he vehemently denied it. I ended up quitting too as those guys were assclowns anyway.

Ole Tatsoul was a hunting machine and I remember very well his stories and complaints about him. Funny stuff

If I got scolded back in the day for poaching someone’s land, I burned it to ashes ! Yeah, you’re not funny with that. As someone who had to stop spotlighters in my fields and then had my place burned and lost a barn my grandfather built, I wished you’d have gone to prison. 100% agree.

^^ Why i stopped commenting on those comments - no way to act and certainly not be proud of - the opposite of a sportsman or man of character

Any comment will likely be worthless at this point. We all hav sinned and i know the beam verse well. And you make up terms as you go like sportsman and supremacist Slapping everybody around and talking real big dont make u impressive nor does telling all the bad things you done
Sportsman means you actually care about the land you are on - a sportsman knows its a blessing to even be able to hunt - a sportsman will try to leave it better than he found it and respect the game they are after - not an abuser of the resource/land. A sportsman is a responsible hunter. These Billy Bad arse stories you tell are really only impressing yourself
I am checking out - you got this going down hill and to the toilet at mock speed!

I've only been a member of a club once. Good fellas all. Hunting just wasn't that great and my time was limited. I enjoyed the company and never had a problem. Didn't mind being a butt of jokes and delivered a few too.
No reason to be a member when I have 129 acres I can hunt with only my BIL to compete. I've never went when I didn't see deer. My daughter is wanting deer meat. I plan on gearing up after a long absence and taking her next year.
I'll put at least one in the freezer, maybe more if I can talk my wife into eating deer with us.
I can literally sit down next to a tree and withing 1 hour of sunrise harvest something. No need for a club.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

I quit hunting clubs many years ago over all the drama and stuff. This thread made me realize ever since I started hunting public land I have had very few issues with jackasses in the woods and a lot less drama. And shot bigger bucks, oddly enough.

… I've never went when I didn't see deer.
I can literally sit down next to a tree and withing 1 hour of sunrise harvest something. No need for a club. There used to be a fellow on here that had access to 160 acres of private land, that he only let me and my boys hunt. It was the same way. Covered up in deer. If I didn’t see at least six deer every sit, it was a slow day. I killed several good bucks off of it and watched the biggest deer of my life at 30 yards for 45 minutes. Never shot him because my son was supposed to have hunted with me that day but changed his mind at the last minute. Went back with him the next day. Never saw the deer again. I swore I’d never let one go like that again. The property was such a deer magnet I used to call it The Promise Land.
If voting made any difference, they wouldn’t let us do it.-Mark Twain
