TREASURY SAYS IT CANNOT BAIL OUT BITCOIN

Senator Sherman asked if the Treasury could intervene to “bail out Bitcoin.” Treasury Secretary Bessent responded that he has no authority to use taxpayer dollars to buy the cryptocurrency.

Why not? It's not printed notes nor gold bullion. It's just numbers on a screen that gets posted and swapped back and forth. Printed money just gets more printed and numbers sent to this account and that account. Can't redeem those numbers for gold at the credit union. Eventually we're gonna be in a situation of bartering with carrots, cabbage and chickens. Probably not too far out from today.

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.
