Of those two , .280 AI . If you wanta step it on up, 7mm PRC. 280ai will give you nearly identical velocities to the 7prc with 10 grains less powder. I think you're mixing up 7PRC with 7Mag. 280ai is nipping right on the heels of 7 mag, but unless you're doing some way off book handloading, it's still a couple hundred fps behind the 7PRC
