But if you want better factory ammo availability, either 7mm PRC or 7mm Backcountry. Figure out what it likes, buy 5-10 boxes for it, hunt forever without concern about ammo availability. Not to pick nits, but the 280ai has WAY better ammo selection and availability than the 7 BC, and the 7prc has only marginally better ammao selection/ availability. Not to mention, that none of those hungry cartridges are required to kill anything in North America, much less deer in Alabama. Lol That's a very true statement, but you dont have to wear the skinny jeans and have your hair pulled up in a bun to shoot the 280ai, which is a big bonus IMO. Nor a 223, 7-08, or 308 to name a very few of many non creedmoor cartridges that would accomplish the goals of the OP.
