Im a savage guy. I would buy a tan or camo Axis II with a short heavy threaded barrel and a accutrigger and put a trijicon or leupold illumiated dot scope on it. You can do that for a little over $1000 and i guarantee you wont be sorry. Probably $1200 for the complete gun, scope, mounts and a nice sling. Ive got a bunch of these guns and theyre all shooters. You could spend more but why would you? I really like the new Axis II Pro and the new 110s. I sighted an Axis II pro in 25-06 for my buddy’s grandson. I was impressed with that little rifle. I’ve been looking at the Axis II pro in 6ARC.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
