Sitting out here enjoying this Artic Blast during Prime Time of Deer Season in South Alabama. It is about time we got some cold weather to align with does in heat and bucks in rut. I bet south bama deer lay down all day today, its too cold foe them imo. Tomorrow should be better

I wanted to hunt woods. I would not hav lasted! Got ton of clothes on and almost too cold in this box with no air leaks

Not for me today, about to build a fire in fireplace and sit in front of it all day. Only time I plan to spend outside is bringing in wood off of the porch to keep the fire going

Got in shooting house 30 min ago. Don’t have heater on yet. Got some down insulated underwear and layered up good. Feet will prob get chilly but I’ll survive. Wind is whipping and in all directions. Brought a sandwich so I’m gonna be here for the day. Flurries in lowndes. Another member saw 3 bucks while on SXS this morning.

Are any of you still putting out for pee or hung that up for the rest of the season? It’s cold today. Saw 1 early this morning and nothing since. I think I’m headed out around noon.

I stayed in and watched cameras but only 1 doe and 9 turkeys. Easy to open door and shoot. I’m staying close to home so set up buddy heater on deck in case I get motivated to sit outside.  They might move in Panhandle this evening but think they’ll bed down and move tomorrow. Trying to kill 1 more deer.

I finished going weeks ago. Ain’t no way I would be out in the open in this. Ain’t nothing moved here all day anyway. They might around dark but I’d have to be enclosed with a heater. Can’t handle it like use to.
