Cool video but I wanted to see the lifting of the locomotives. I've never seen a train with 6 engines and I wonder how long the entire thing was.

FYI, freight locomotives weigh 200t~ so you got to get the big boys to lift them

That's why I figure their ultimate goal is to get them back on a track.
Is a maneuver where they pick up the whole Locomotive in the cards ?
Maybe. I doubt it though. Which one do you pick first ?

That 100 ton Link Belt 218 wouldn't pick 1/4 of one engine. it's only there to build a temp trestle. I'm guessing they will bring one or two Hydro 600 ton crane and put the engines on segmental transporters and roll them off the temp trestle.
not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

I wonder if the plan is to lift that middle one just enough to repair the track and ease forward with the engines until off the trestle. That avoids actually lifting a 200 ton locomotive. Afterwards, permanent repairs are made to the trestle.
