My brother and I doubled up on public land today. I shot mine about 9:40. He was slowly following a doe. Unfortunately for him she brought him right to me. The one I shot is the wide one. 60 yards DRT with the .270. I had climbed down took a picture of him and sent him to my brother that was about 400 yards away down the draw from me. He replied back Nice! Then 5 min later he dropped his with the .308. Unreal really first deer on public land for both of us. Got 2 good bucks. Won’t ever forget this day!
