I tried one of these in one of my tacticams cause heard they work good and thought heck I’ll try it to save fooling with batteries. That thing was on charge for at least a week and only lasted like 4 days. Now this one is a tik tok one that is advertised but my experience it can go in the garbage. Have any off yall had experience good or bad? Maybe i just got a bad one.
Tried a couple had the same results as you, from what I hear from Revel they say it will work better in conjunction with solar panels. I've had good luck with lithium AA and solar panels
My buddy at the camp has the ticket on the reveals. Go on Amazon and order you a 20ah lithium 12v battery. They are about $50. Get a $7 Plano ammo can and a cord. Put the battery in the can and run the cord to the camera. Unlimited pics and videos sent instantly and it will last around 8 weeks. Set it on twice a day and there’s no telling how long it will last. Total battery set up was around $70. These work better than the solar panels if the camera is in the woods and don’t get direct sunlight. They last longer too.
I have all my cameras set up with AA batteries in the camera and camera is hooked up to a 12 v rechargeable battery. I bought most of my 12v batteries from Bass Pro, but you can get them most anywhere. At Bass Pro they are $19.99 Hooked the camera to the connecting cord and connected to the 12v in a Plano ammo box which I bought from Harbor Freight and Bass Pro. Great set up!!!
Those things are completely useless. Make you an external battery pack with a 12V battery and it will run your camera for over a year. I have one on every camera I run.

same here.. i have one on all my spypoints. one has been in the woods since january of 25 and still has 39% charge on it. if i have it set on a feeder site i can easily get 7 months out of one with the cam set to send pics 2 times a day
Turkey’s tell you when they want to die not lawmakers.
The Moultrie Edge rechargeable lithium packs last a month - 6wks depending on number of pics it takes and temperature.
The 12v 5ah external batteries and cables are the way to go. I have one still running from October but also have hot spares and swap them out when I fill hoppers.
No solar chargers and I just set them on the ground. If critters are a problem with the cordage, I just elevate them on the tree.

I have been converted all my cameras and feeders to 12 v rechargeable batteries and solar cells. AA batteries are such a PIA. I use 7ah batteries designed for electric gates and they last about 3-4 years in a feeder.

The 12V externals really is the only way to go. The lithium battery packs have to be changed out several times a season and AA's last about 2 weeks depending on the camera and pic send frequency. You just plug up the external charger and forget about it until all seasons are closed.
