I’ve been a cap sidelock guy most of my life, but I’m teaching some Trail Life kids B/P and acquired an inline for some variety for their badge work.

It’s a Traditions Pursuit w/ the Accelerator plug and I’m discovering I need some more equipment for it. I’ve got sidelock equipment for .45 and .50 cal, Pyrodex loose powder and the like.

Anybody in the HSV area have some of the following they’d part with for a fee?

- 209 primers
- sabots for using .45 bullets in a .50 cal
- specific tools for 209 primers/accel plug/etc
- front/rear sight for a Traditions round barrel (no taper), bonus if peep rear

Thanks in advance!

I got hooked up with Midwest Shooters Supply and they have everything I can think of. I also use Natchez when they have their hazmat fees waived. Both have been good companies and I buy when they run specials on what I need only.

Good luck.

Here is another source I've used in the past for .50 cal sabots for .44 pistol bullets.
Muzzle Loaders.com

If you don’t have primers or sabots yet let me know. I have some CCI 209M primers and crush rib sabots I’ll give you.

Barnes MZ Expanders will be the best bullet choice that you ever make. I shoot the 300gr in my Optima and shot them for decades in my Remington ML700.

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

X2.

I’ve been using fed bore lokt since I couldn’t find Barnes and they’re not bad.

If you’re gonna splurge on anything, get some black horn209 for powder. It’s in a league of its own.
