I’ll give a total recap once weekend is over. Suffice to say we’ve had a good time so far. I won’t get into it now because I’m still absolutely gutted over it but I had Janet hold off on a real nice 3.5yo buck yesterday morning. After conferring with some other folks it would have made the requirements (16” inside spread or 18” main beams) even tho the PL biologists said he was borderline. They told us that if we have to question it, to hold off. I was second guessing the whole time. I was so scared to risk a ticket and confiscation of the rack. I’m embarrassed to post a pic just yet as I’m still not over it and if we don’t get her something, it might be a long time if I ever do get over that decision. We are heading back out for her last hunt so maybe he or a nicer deer will show up.
