Not knocking the adapter for $45 but I just bought a big buddy(2 1lb canister model)for about $20-25 dollars more than the one that will hold 1 canister, got mine at a local hardware store last week, used it the other night got approximately 8hrs run time on 2 canisters not the advertised 11hours on low setting
I bought it for an ALP propane generator for a specific runtime but I use it for all kinds of stuff now. You can usually find it cheaper.
I don’t refill the green bottles anymore, the Mr Heater setup is superior in every way.
I also don’t swap tanks, I have good tanks and want to keep them that way. About 80% of the time the swaps are crap. I just get them refilled. I do have a few blue rhinos if I need to swap for some reason.
