I've been watching the forecasts on another forum and I'm dreading the weekend. The 3 most trusted models seem to be in the process of lining up more every few hours. Looks a good bit of snow and really cold lows at night. Possible ice mix. Ugggghhhh...

James Spann keeps mentioning the 82 Ice Storm. NOT GOOD. Yeahhhhh, in 82 we had wood heat, so losing power wasn't a big deal for me. '26...all electric. May need to go buy a buddy heater and some propane bottles

In 82 we went for seven days without power. Ice storm/falling tree limbs took down all the power lines. Wood burning stove and generator kept us alright.

James Spann keeps mentioning the 82 Ice Storm. NOT GOOD. I remember it well; we did not have the kind of notice then that we do now. Everybody in Birmingham went home at the same time when it started.Took me 4 hours to go 12 miles

I’m gonna attempt to run my generator today for a couple hours. This yep make sure they will crank. I’m responsible for keeping 3 going if needed. Hopefully not needed. Ran them all around News Years. Mine, my parents and MIL’s.

I hope the models are wrong & it's not near a severe as predicted
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...
