The summer weather all last week, and then 3+ inches of rain across the most of the state on one of the most prime weekends to hunt timing wise(this past weekend), certainly adds to the issue of the too much food in the woods theory right now, to help create the harvest situation you see reflected on the latest charts. Those large numbers of both bucks and does, that are normally killed on prime date weekends (like this past weekend) during peak rut in most areas, are gone forever and will not be made up in the kill totals this year. .
Looks like this theory just got blown out of the water.......
