Me and my buddies oldest son hunted together yesterday and he killed his 3rd 8 point for the year. He's 15 and its his first year hunting it's pretty safe to say he's hooked
We will burn that bridge when we get there

Congratulations Coosa, looks like you hit him in the guts, how long did you wait to look for him? Did you have trouble finding him? That’s the exit. First shot was quartering to and it went in on the point of his shoulder. He ran about 25yds and then started quick walking out of the field so I put another one in him through both shoulder blades and he was DRT.

My 9 year old son killed his first deer Saturday morning. It was shot for a doe, but ended up being a knot head, but since it was his first deer, all is good, we celebrated just the same as if it was a doe.
