First let me say, I went to Auburn and the older I get (67) I get, the less football means to me. But getting curb stomped (which is totally true) doesnt look as bad with Indiana “Curb stomping” Oregon as well. But by any account, making the playoffs is a successful season. I know your comment is fan fodder but what I would give to see AU make the playoffs, even if they got curb stomped by Indiana. The bama fans complaining about everything from what Deboar wears to analyzing the OL and QB, RB, defense are just spoiled, They need to walk a mile in an Auburn fans shoes over the last 10-20 years. The days of Saban dominating are over. The jury is out on how successful Deboar will be, but as a AU grad, I would trade the past two years with Bama any day. Just telling the truth.

You have lived your lie about being an Auburn fan longer than Lindsay Graham has lived his about being straight.

There have been a few over the years. Just off the top of my head.

Mark Richt to Kirby Smart.
Jim Tressell to Urban Meyer to Ryan Day
Bob Stoops to Lincoln Riley
Pat Dye to Terry Bowden

You could say Bowden improved Auburn since Dye was 5-6 and 5-5-1 in his last 2 years

True. Poor ol Dye had a rough two years after ol Eric Ramsey narced on him.
