There is a fine balance of adulting and house responsibilities, especially with young children. I always tried to be sensible about it and help the wife when it was needed. Still managed to hunt some days, help her others. Marriage is about compromise, not demanding you get your way. I agree, at first I was disappointed but got over it quick bc my wife works a ton, we have 3 kids etc so it is all about perspective. I’d rather have a spouse that is happy than be selfish and dump all the household stuff on her. Work on getting the family to go with you.
