Before a man gets married he should plan some kind of fancy date night or weekend trip a month in advance with the woman he’s thinking about marrying and then see how she handles it when you cancel to go hunting.

There is a fine balance of adulting and house responsibilities, especially with young children. I always tried to be sensible about it and help the wife when it was needed. Still managed to hunt some days, help her others. Marriage is about compromise, not demanding you get your way. I agree, at first I was disappointed but got over it quick bc my wife works a ton, we have 3 kids etc so it is all about perspective. I’d rather have a spouse that is happy than be selfish and dump all the household stuff on her.

Family friendly February is coming soon! Keeping a balance with family is more important than another head on the wall. When my son got old enough to tag along I got to hunt a lot more. Not always productive but we were out there.

I had bucks on camera, some were later in the AM though. If you aren't sitting until 10am at least, you are probably missing deer.
