I guessed the hog hunters would definitely know what’s the best bang for the buck on a thermal rifle scope for pig and coyote hunting. (Yotes are getting bad around here)
I’m just getting started, but have the cry once and buy once attitude on hunting gear.
I’ve looked at the Thor gen 5, but would rather learn from folks that have the experience to say yay or nay…and to what level of $ is diminishing return on investment?
Any help appreciated folks!

If you got that attitude, without just getting stupid with blowing money, I’d look at the nocpix. Their 384 is supposedly as good or better than some that are the 68?
I’ve got iray stuff, and it’s good. But I bought those a couple years ago and they are already outdated if you look at the new ones. If you’re shooting pigs at 100 and in, a $1500 thermal will suit you fine. If you’re hunting bean fields, you’re gonna want to step it up some.

We are using a RIX. We have the DBH-D6 and the Storm S6.
We have made 400 yard shots on coyotes with the DBH-D6.
If you are going to do any serious hunting you really need two thermals. One on the gun and one to scan with.
