if i could id go . good day to stalk. one thanksgiving we had 35mph winds gusting to 60 at times , deer was scare as hell , had 4 bucks run to me i killed a nice 8. ive killed other deer on windy days .

I would go. Mine show 10 mph in clarke n morning - doable but i would go regardless. I am on 14 hour midnights but work off and hope to go tomorrow evening with this northwesterly wind. I will hit big field if NW. if goes to NNW Will back up and punt. But late actually supposed to go WNW which is great for big field - could get a visitor

Told my wife many years ago when she started that crap, that hunting was here long before she was, don’t make it here long after she’s gone.

Wife just ask you going today or at least to the farm for a while. Nope waiting on 40*. She called me a sissy pants.

No I’ve gone this season, I even took time off work this week but yup, it’s an issue now that I go when all the stuff is done around the house, kids taken care of etc. might pick up another past time like womanizing or doing drugs that way she won’t know where I am at or who I am with 🤣. Joking aside, I am salty about it but there’s always next time so it’s all good.

There is a fine balance of adulting and house responsibilities, especially with young children. I always tried to be sensible about it and help the wife when it was needed. Still managed to hunt some days, help her others. Marriage is about compromise, not demanding you get your way.
