The program continues to decline under Deboer and cracks are starting to show. Texas essentially took his lunch money this past weekend and kicked sand in his face. Watch and see.... within 2-3 years it will be v2 of the Mike Shula years. I don't necessarily think he should be fired because who's going to come at this point? That trigger should have been pulled weeks ago if it was going to be pulled at all. Kiffin is locked up, it would take 20 mil to get Cignetti to jump ship plus his buyout. You would have to hire some up and comer and take your chances.

All I know is the program is being bullied on the field, and on the recruiting trail. It is slowly showing weakness more and more on and off the field. The talking heads are shit talking us every Saturday on TV.

When was the last time you saw a Bama team that couldn't throw the long ball.
When in the last two years have you seen Bama just physically whip a FBS school?
Return a punt all the way?
Block a FG?
Run the ball down someone's throat for 4 quarters?
Make plays on Special Teams in general?
A playmaker WR? Williams and Bernard showed flashes in a couple of games but what about the Jameson Williams, John Metchies, or Devonta Smith types. Those caliber guys go to Ohio State or Miami now.

Bama doesn't do any of that anymore.

Now you are just letting other teams come in and have their way with your roster and take whomever they want.

It's weak, and like I said.... in three years it will be Shula ball all over unless something changes drastically. When the 12 team playoff was announced I thought to myself "Bame will be in the playoffs every season for the next 100 years". Pffft, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Bama is trending in the wrong direction under Deboer.
