Any of you folks have a suppressor on a 1911? Considering a new range toy .45 that has a threaded barrel. Any brand recommendations (suppressor, not gun)? The cool thing about a 45 is that pretty much any ammo you buy for it is subsonic so it'll be stupid quiet. Yeah i'd run regular loads vs SUBs, shot some Remington subs once out my 45s and good lawd wasn't long and neither gun would cycle cause they were so damn dirty from those Remington loads! I'm sure there's better options out there (this was probably 6 years ago) but i just stick with the Standards
