The way I look at it is do you have enough money to retire at 62 without social security? If so its a no brainer. If not keep working until you do if you are able. Ive always looked at social security as FU money anyway.
If you have enough money to retire at 62 then using the tax system to your benefit is way more beneficial than waiting on government crumbs.
