Not sure he has the power to be unilaterally making those calls. I don't think it would be a bad thing at all. But he's likely not got that power. I'm not a fan of the power of executive orders on businesses or everyday life in America.

Against foreign powers, sure. Pardons, sure. But I've never been a fan of that power regardless of what the sitting presidents choose to do with it. It should go through congress, where I prefer gridlock if possible.

But I can't argue it's a problem. I'm neck deep in that industry and see the damage it causes.

I'd much rather put a squash on foreign countries owning American property of any sort. Most countries don't allow non-citizens to own land and many don't even allow non-citizens to have jobs if their citizens can fill those jobs.

We need to be doing the same.
