The market saw it favorable. Big oil and related industries popped . Fluor build much of the infrastructure including the biggest refinery down there. Those companies that lost billions when the Dictators took over will be paid back first , bet on it . I think Conocophillips is owed about 30 billion.

Most of what i have is individual stocks. Mine went down quite a bit overall. I didnt notice what the voo did, it might have gone up a little

I do believe the market will have a very good year though, and the BBB will help, so Trumps policies are market positive in my opinion. That probably means everyone should sell now. 😂.

I thought today was a record close for the DOW , no? 48,977.xx. Up 2.13 % last month. Strong movement for the DOW, especially this time of the year when markets are usually flat.

High close in Dec was 48,704 on 12/11 and that was the record. Today's close is roughly 300 points higher than that, setting the new record.

There are a lot of layers to this situation and imo the ones getting all the attention are because the administration wants you to focus on all that to keep everyone looking in that direction.

1) Maduro is pretty much the equivalent of Pablo Escobar taking over an entire country; government, military and all. Honestly Escobar would have most likely been kinder to his people whereas Maduro slaughtered folks and starved them while enriching himself and his cronies. Venezuela has 303 billion barrels of oil reserves, more than any country, including Saudi Arabia, yet only sales/exports 4 billion dollars' worth per year. That is by design. Any number of companies could have come in there and made that a marketable product which would have created a flourishing economy, but Madura chose not to. Just enough to keep him and his fat and happy.

2)He definitely let the drugs flow unabated through Venezuela which enriched him further and the vast majority of that came here. Along with that he drove the absolute worst criminals in his country to America so we would have to deal with them.

3)The main customers of Venezuelan oil are China, Russia and Iran, three of the main players that would love nothing more than destabilizing our country. Effectively operating a few short hours south of us. There are literally boots on the ground there with these folks. Toss in all of them working together to wreck our currency and that party really needed to be busted up. They all need to be ran back to where they came from.

Those are the things that can be seen which make plenty of reasons to oust an unelected tyrant from his perch and give the country a chance to rebound. IMO we're not done there as there will be a play for power that will have to be dealt with or unfortunately for the citizens of that country it will fail.

Now the rest of it. This is MY OPINION and mine alone, with some facts mixed in, but I try to study all this as watching this stuff unfold is better than any movie. TRIGGER WARNING! If you don't like hearing stuff about ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT stop here.

What is THE number one thing that is in TRUMPS craw and has been? Getting screwed out of the 2020 election. He seethes about that to this day and has already hint posted about it since Maduro's capture. What does that have to do with Venezuela/Maduro? That is where the Smartmatic/Dominion voting system came from. They now have an office in Florida as Sequoia but is still based in Venezuela. Ownership is actually a shell game for a reason. They were first used in 2004 by Chavez but showed up the next year in a 2005 election in Cook County, IL. Coincidently, that's the same year Obama became a Senator. Trump and his tight circle have been uncovering ever possible thing there is regarding rigged elections in this country. I'm pretty certain they plan for Maduro to be a witness regarding all of that.

Also, the ties from Maduro to Castro to Trudeau to the Clintons, Obamas and Bushes, to Soros to Gates to Schwab among others in the One World Government movement have been strained a bit as one of their own is in the custody of this unfriendly to them administration. At this point Trump, Putin and possibly Milei are pretty much the only leaders that stand in the way of the OWG movement. Time is ticking though.

Again, IMO, there is a definitive end game to what Trump is doing, what he's done and what he's going to do. Why was DOGE created? To show those willing to listen that we citizens are being straight up robbed by our politicians and unelected bureaucrats. Notice I didn't say democrats, it's all of them. I DO NOT see folks that at one time I considered the good guys shouting from the rooftops to stop fleecing us (Ted Cruz/Kennedy, etc.). Do you? NO ONE wants to stop it, Period! If you ain't willing to do everything possible to your last breath to stop it as an elected official, then you are a part of it. You did see that the collective of NGO's tied to our federal government has 14 TRILLION dollars in asset, right? That's not a typo. Drip, drip the Epstein files. Refugee fraud in the multi Billions(set up by Obama btw) coming to light now. Who knew daycares were getting millions in subsides? Americans pay hundreds of dollars a week for it. Daycares donating millions to campaign elections. In one state. Really? Fake health care companies getting billions? 16 different companies in one building? And no one noticed? OK. How about food pantry's getting paid to feed 4000 per week and feeding 40? He's preparing the citizenry for what's coming? Insurrection Act? illegitimate elections? Governed by folks we didn't elect. Stealing our treasure in the process. Who exactly got those SSN checks that were 120 years old? By the thousands. Who was collecting those checks from the fake federal jobs?

I hope his(their) plan works and he brings down the whole house of cards. I want to see them all finally exposed, thrown in jail in or at least off themselves in a verifiable way.

Point is... Most everyone you read or listen to on the internet, from Candice Owens to kids on Reddit living in their parents basement to folks on here, all are 100% sure they know more than they really do, but they aren't afraid to share it with other people all over the internet. You and I included.

Because of the democratization of the dissemination of information, anyone with a smart phone and a connection can post shit on the internet for other people to read. And unfortunately that's where most people get their information now. Those same people will criticize you or I for reading and learning something from a book that an accomplished author took years and years to research and write. I'm not saying that all books are 100% truth, but the people who wrote them actually researched the subject matter for more than a few minute internet search.

The internet has made us both smarter and dumber if that is even possible, and I know it is making all out attention spans shorter, which means we no longer have the patience to really study anything in depth.

The only book I study lately is the Bible. It is all in there. You don't see me in a lot of other threads trying to make out like I know every topic in the world like some do. I have studied this thread and have decided Maduro is the only illegal alien that the democrats want to send back to his own country. How do you measure the force of a blow? That would probably an interesting thread .
