I don't think bank height will be too much of a problem. It's shallow enough in most places that I think I can step over most log jams without being too noisy. And as for the hard work, I have killed one from a climber and while sitting on the ground so far this year. I know there are easier ways, but I'm looking at trying something new and having some fun while learning some more about this property.

Good thinking. Way to many get stuck in hunting just one way . learning the land is the best thing you can ever do

Killed many a stubborn turkey slipping down a creek with high banks. Never a deer though. It would work and be quiet.

I used to wade a fair size swamp in Greene Co. All the water was less than knee deep,, stay to the bank and it was ankle deep mostly. Killed a bunch of deer in there.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

It has worked really well today. Got to the creek about 11. Waited 30 minutes for the rain to quit. Have slipped along for a couple miles over the last few hours. Seen 14 deer, a pile of turkeys, and more rubs than I could count. All does and fawns so far. Settled down til dark. Hoping I get to float one out of here.
