Just when things seem to be legit on the surface I read other's takes on the Maduro deal. I'm sitting here believing what Trump said were the reasons for taking Maduro. Then I read other's opinions on here that our own CIA puts these dictators in charge and use them for their own interests and Maduro was checked by the "real" folks in charge of the world. I know the media is FOS so I don't give any weight to what any of them say regardless of the network and they are just an arm for propaganda to manipulate folks. So exactly what is the truth? I feel like I can't believe shit anymore and that I'm watching 4D chess trying to figure out what the hell is going on....and I ain't smart enough to do that. So who the heck can be believed?

Yourself. If you weren’t a witness to it or it didn’t happen to you, take it with a grain of salt.

My mother used to tell me: "Don't believe anything you read and only half of what you see!"
Pretty sound advice that has served me well during my life.

If it sounds like something that would happen in the movies, it’s probably not true as far as the government goes. Do you really think people can keep secrets nowadays? Not in this time.

I asked myself today "how does this effect me". As in, if i didnt own a Tv or use the internet, would i even realuze this had happened? I doubt it. It could possibly cause gas to go up or down a little, i guess. But that happens every day anyhow, dont it? Theres alot of, most of i guess, this stuff we hear about our country, or its leaders anyhow, doing that absolutely dont effect us one bit, or very little. Not enough to notice. Its pretty much us vs them. The rules are not the same. The things that effect our lives are not the same.

My mom said these things all thru my life I still kinda disagree but understand that perspective more and more. I always felt she meant it has nothing to do with getting to heaven I contend we should still care but maybe not as much as many do. Have a friend that’s an historian and lives saying already been down that road it’s just reinvented.

Watch the movies I posted in either this thread or the other. You shouldn’t take at face value my opinion or any other, news stories or whatever. In the end you should do exactly what “they” want you to do. You should dwell in whatever truth fits the comfort of your mind because it limits what truth you can handle.
I usually start my search for the truth in whether a person’s adjectives monetizes life or humanitize (humanize) everything around them. Then I dig deeper because it might not be what it seems.
Best of luck !

Take everything you read on here with a healthy grain of salt. This place is full of a bunch of internet blowhards who want you impress you and make you think they are "insiders" and posses some kind of special knowledge or insider information. They are not and they don't. It's just a bunch of bullshit. None of that is to say that there is not shit going on behind the scenes when the government tells you something or does something. There certainly is shit going on behind the scenes. Rarely is anything we see exactly as it seems. If you want to really dive deep then read: The Devil's Chessboardand/or A Legacy of AshesThose two will kind of get you started into learning about the lengths our own government will go to to protect "our" interests in the World and attempt to maintain the balance of power. Beware though it's some crazy shit we have done and continue to do. And a warning if you are this "Rah Rah, go America" type person, you are going to learn about some seriously bad shit that we have done to maintain our place in the World. I'm a naturally an upbeat kind of person, so I have taken what I have learned from books like these and compartmentalized it with the knowledge that sometimes good people have to do really bad things to ensure the future of other good people. None of that is to say that there have not been bad people in service of the US, because there certainly has been that too.

simple exercise of Monroe Doctrine and Roosevelt Corollary to end extra hemisphere influence of three foreign powers: China, Russia, and Iran. Monroe and Roosevelt both established well before oil became a thing in Venezuela ...

Look at what is real...thats the easiest way.
1- there is a federal law tha says Marijuana is illegal in this country. The fed government either cant enforce it in its own country, or refuses to.any one who thinks Venezuela has ANYTHING to do with drugs is a complete and total imbecile!
2- we just flew in, picked up a leader of another country and brought him back here, without losing one life. Anyone who thinks this is about national security is a complete and total imbecile.
This how democrats like Biden and trump get elected. Complete and total imbeciles who do not have the ability to think on their own, and see whats REALLY going on, are still aloud to vote!

Self preservation is a natural process. Media is vital for any of this to play out so the battle is for the minds of a nation. Thankfully folks are easily manipulated into groups. The worldly groups like Bilderberg meet up to discuss and direct powerful countries to going certain directions. Funny that most of the worlds media has a strong connection in these meetings.

I enjoy keeping up with news from around the world knowing some may affect me and some may not Venezuela was the largest oil producer in South America and it is also mineral rich When Chavez took over the country along with all oil and mineral resources the supply for technology and individuals with the knowledge to keep these industries operating all disappeared because it was mostly US companies that did the supplying of man and material China and Russia and to some degree Iran have been operating in there for years now What Trump did was to enact the Monroe doctrine because this was a national security matter Now watch what China does around Taiwan and what Russia does in Ukraine

Look at Obama’s use of the media and emailing the talking points for the day. Watch the media repeating verbatim, word for word, the same newscast across the nation. Journalisto 1 and then 2 where national journalist emailed each other and what they would report and how and what they wouldn’t report and why. It’s all about directing narratives thru half truths etc… gaslighting and other manipulation to get folks to stay in the correct lane.

I can't take credit for this. It was posted on X by AJ Inapi, a conservative from New Guinea.
For those in the back
Let’s clear something up, because way too many people are confidently wrong.
A limited military strike is not a declaration of war. Never has been. Never worked that way.
Screaming “Congress didn’t approve it!” just tells everyone you don’t understand how U.S. power is structured.
The Constitution already settled this.
Under Article II, the President is the Commander in Chief. That role exists so the Executive can act immediately when American interests or security are threatened - not after a weeks-long political circus.
Congress’s job is to authorize full-scale wars. The President’s job is to neutralize threats.
That division wasn’t an accident. The founders knew that forcing emergency military decisions through hundreds of politicians would be suicidal.
This isn’t some new loophole or Trump-specific invention either.
Presidents from both parties have ordered strikes abroad for decades without formal war declarations - drones, missiles, airstrikes, special ops. It’s standard practice, backed by precedent and legal interpretation.
Even the Justice Department has consistently maintained that short, targeted actions in defense of national security do not meet the constitutional definition of “war.”
What we’re talking about here is precision action, not an invasion.
No occupation. No open-ended conflict. Just degrading hostile capabilities and sending a message.
If things spiral into a prolonged conflict, Congress can absolutely step in. That’s where their authority kicks in.
But at this stage?
The President is operating squarely within constitutional bounds.
So spare everyone the performative outrage about “no vote.”
The justification is national security. And the law already gives the authority.
If that reality upsets you, that’s an education problem - not a constitutional one.

Complete and total imbeciles who do not have the ability to think on their own, and see whats REALLY going on, are still aloud to vote! 1 - Venezuela ABSOLUTELY was pushing drugs to this country, and emptied their prisons of drug dealers and thugs, sending them to the USA with Biden's cooperation. 2 - Venezuelans would disagree with you on Maduro being a legitimate leader, and this was absolutely about national security. You don't think a foreign narco-terrorist organization being pushed by Chicom interests to steal US property and poison our citizens is a national security issue? Do you believe the media lies that those are "fishing boats" that the military is destroying?
