Not being said so much in the news was that Chinese officials arrived in Venezuela for talks just before Maduro was taken. https://x.com/MuhammadAli_PhD/status/2007304278990565431 We took advantage of knowing exactly where Maduro was going to be and at the same time let China know that they are not welcome to Venezuela's resources. To me this was the second biggest news of the day. The Chinese delegation was still there when he was snatched. Pretty bold move that definitely sends a message. Tin Pot Dictators in other shithole countries are quietly going over their personal security plans right about now.
