At my paw n laws at 4 acre field on 50 acer freshly thinned pine plantation. Not much on expectation. Hav not fed here - last year when i did hog took over feed spot. Put a cam out in small field here a few days ago and not squat. Mainly came to feed after hunt - if hogs take it over who cares. I was mainly not feeding so they would not destroy fields. Neighbors hav plenty pretty hardwoods so its uphill battle anyway
If able to hunt after heart surgery - turkey season may be fun

I’ve seen 7 so far 2 does 2 babies. 2 small spikes, and one long horned spike with one side broke off.

Prob a 12-13” rack came in to plot at 730. He was a 4pt but missing his brow tines. Was only there for about 30 seconds then he stiffened up, looked intently into the pines (not at me) then whirled and bolted back into the cutover. Not sure if he caught a slight whiff of me but something ran him out.

Had a broke off buck slip by a little bit ago. Missing one entire antler. Only had about 3” of it left
