CNC, we have wild weather swings every year, yes. The timing though matters on how it affects harvest totals. When it’s warm on opening day, weekends, holidays, etc it impacts harvest.
Deer are literally everywhere now, and they were not a few weeks ago. Pretty consistent too. As the breeding season approaches in other areas of the state, I think they’ll realize their deer didn’t go anywhere either. 🤷🏼♂️
I think the peak rut weekends are probably the only ones significant enough to potentially impact season totals…..For a large part of Alabama the 3rd and 4th weekend of January along with the first weekend in Feb will be the most important ones. I would bet though that on most given years you probably have one poor weather weekend out of those three…..so there really isnt a whole lot of change as far as that goes……If all three of those weekends were rained out or really hot then we might be talking about a significant impact from such…..Of course there’s gonna be some areas of Alabama where these 3 weekends with be during other time frames
