Get to work this morning, and see my dads truck being towed into my office parking lot. He had left the local hardware store and it just died, I suspect fuel pump. At lunch, I run to my brothers to get our car hauler and winch, so I can get his truck out of the parking lot and to the shop. Get there, and our 3 month old trailer has a flat right rear. Get it aired back up, and the tow straps loaded up. Arrive at the office and get the truck pushed back so I can get the trailer lined up to winch it on. Hook the battery up, and free spool the winch out. It was at that point, I start looking for the winch controller. It's of course no where to be found because it's in my brother's toolbox who is duck hunting in Oklahoma. Accepting defeat, I said well since I am hooked up to it I'll run by the tire store and get the tire fixed. They closed. Just damnit. That pretty much sums up any attempt I make at fixing anything ESPECIALLY plumbing.
