Dan…….. I take it you haven’t watched them lately. In 3 postseason games they have 43 yards rushing. The QB cant throw the long ball and only throws the short stuff and not too effectively I might add. 3 and outs are the norm. We go for it on 4th Down more times than not no matter the field position and very seldom ever make it. Watching a Bama game the last month is like watching the Special Olympics.
They are soft. The O Line is full of 4 and 5 stars and they get owned in the trenches nearly every game. QB can’t throw the ball accurately over 15 yards. Kicker is spotty. Special teams are non existent and have been for years. Constant turnovers. Getting owned in TOP.
They are still upper tier SEC but I don’t know if you’ve noticed but the SEC is getting owned in the post season. It’s been pretty sickening to watch. Yeah, I have watched them and they have slumped near the end of the year. But they did beat UGA earlier in the season, so they aren't too bad. The point I'm making is there are some very spoiled fans that can't handle adversity. You know, those melting down when they were behind by 17 against OU in the playoff before UA came back and won. There's probably 100 fanbases out there that would love to have that option to have their team on the big stage to compete. As for Cignetti, I'll enjoy to watch Indiana win out this year (if that happens). IU has come from zero to the top of the field.......that's a good story. I'll also be interested to see how long he can continue with that success. I wonder if the NIL $$'s had significant affect on that success. If so, I suspect there will be other success stories in the future of non-historic programs rising to the top like IU. Staying there will be a challenge though.
