He’s fine for now and he controls his future. If he keeps the current staff in place and finishes 8-4 or 9-3 next year, same soft team, same poor o-line play and lack of a run game, he’ll be getting admitted to the UAB burn center for skin grafts on 3rd and 4th degree burns over 100% of his body. Hot will not describe the temperature of his seat.

The donors play this part and will make some changes below Debo and be fine. They missing a couple key parts they will find in the portal. I believe Ty could pick u apart with time to do it but without time mobility like milroe could cause u fits but also was a problem cause everyone knew what the plan was and milroe got stuffed. Gotta have middle ground with a qb and a running game. Gotta have a o line to do any of it so most who can should be back to be better. Making it to semis is a good season regardless and the days of stacked teams is gone and it’s a gauntlet to make it to the championship game so that’s my take. Actually these last bracket games have been fun to watch other than bama just getting bulldozed which we knew would show itself at some point. Even afterwards I think bama should have been in playoffs before Texas. Actually Miami may take it all the way that defense played last night

That kind of stupid is why America enjoys when UA gets beat. Your team gets to the CFB playoffs, gets beat, and you fire the coach. LOL Who the stupid hell will replace him?

Dan…….. I take it you haven’t watched them lately. In 3 postseason games they have 43 yards rushing. The QB cant throw the long ball and only throws the short stuff and not too effectively I might add. 3 and outs are the norm. We go for it on 4th Down more times than not no matter the field position and very seldom ever make it. Watching a Bama game the last month is like watching the Special Olympics.

They are soft.
The O Line is full of 4 and 5 stars and they get owned in the trenches nearly every game.
QB can’t throw the ball accurately over 15 yards.
Kicker is spotty.
Special teams are non existent and have been for years.
Constant turnovers.
Getting owned in TOP.

They are still upper tier SEC but I don’t know if you’ve noticed but the SEC is getting owned in the post season. It’s been pretty sickening to watch.

So 20-8 is an acceptable record in his first two years? No run game either year, crappy oline that hasn't improved? Teams that regress as the season goes on? This team looked the exact same as last year's team, no improvement at all. Next year will be the same.

Indiana is what Bama used to be. Truly incredible what Cignetti did with only two four star starters and Bama has seven five stars, DeBoer totally out coached again. Indiana better coached and more disciplined.

So bama needs to ask them if they wanna switch coaches?

Brailsford and Carroll are not Saban recruits.

As the barners always say “rebuilding year, young players, gotta learn his system” blah, blah, blah.

Yeah even though I am a Bama fan it would be a shame to see him leave. But can you imagine what he could do with a bunch of 4 and 5 stars like DeBoer has? Hopefully they pay him enough to stay. But he hasn't won the natty yet all four teams are very good.

The days of expecting coaches/players to have any real loyalty to a program are over....and college football, as a whole, is to blame for it, not the coaches/players. They've basically turned it into free agency with 1-year contracts. I mean, seriously, we're sitting here talking (some more serious than others) about potentially getting ride of a coach after his 2nd year, when he made the playoffs in his 2nd second year, while following the greatest football coach of all time. I'm not convinced KD is "the man for the job" at UA, but the fact that anyone is even suggesting he be fired tells you all you need to know about the state of football.

They are but in today’s world of no loyalty on either side, he can tell them to get in the portal or just not renew their scholarships and tell them to hit the road. Grab a line of upper classmen out of the portal and see what they can do. Most assuredly, they won’t be any worse than the fat, slow, weak, always gettin man-handled by smaller players, non-blocking trash that’s taken the field for bama in the past 2 yrs. Bama probably has the worst online in the P4 and has for the past two years. There is absolutely no excuse for that.

#1 RB in 23 cycle (Richard Young) just hit the portal. He will probably go somewhere and be a 1000 yard rusher for someone. Justice Haynes went to Michigan and ran for 850 in a backup role which is nearly twice the output Jam Miller put out in a starting role (although to be fair he missed a few games).

He was #7 on 247 recruiting, must not have showed it in practice or he would have played. Wish him well
